Is she planning on watching?
I feel like Jaime should have had a stronger reaction of some sort to everything that happened and was done to her - I don't know if it's the story or the way it's being told that isn't getting me.
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I hated Katee in this. So OTT.
Yeah, she seemed off to me. . . but then she was supposed to be crazy, right?
I think Chuck got the best exposition fairy of any new show I've seen this year. (Exposition fairies love pilot season. They all get together and watch the new shows and compare notes and say things like, "Oooh, nicely integrated." and "You did not just do voice-over. Oh my Gawd, we need to stage an intervention")
I don't think it was just Starbuck...no, I can't come up with any clever play on that...that makes me say the show feels like Galactica in it's aesthetic. It's trying to be very hip and edgy.
Very meh. I think boyfriend's my favorite character, which isn't saying much. But if the actors get better, and the writers have a stickectomy of the anus, it might be watchable.
ETA: Oh, and hatedhatedhated the girl in the car moment. Was trying waaaay too hard. And poorly edited together.
whoops! wrong thread!
Crazy, damaged, Starbuck variant...whatever. But she wasn't in the same show as everyone else, and I kinda liked their show better. Not loved, but interested.
My main beef with it is that I had no idea why Jaime ends up so badass at the end. I don't mean in terms of the martial skills (thank god they handwaved that), just in terms of the mettle (no pun, honest) required to spit back after all this happened to her.
We don't yet know if the miscarriage was pointless, do we? It may play into the plot or character development in future episodes.
Yes- exactly! We didn't really see anything at the beginning - pre-accident that would make her the badass at the end - and there wasn't any progression to that either.
It felt incomplete.
Regardless of the acting, I'm far more interested in learning about her backstory than I am Jamie's.
I like Flash Gordon. It makes me laugh. I look forward to each and every new episode as it comes out. It doesn't seem nearly as bad as I've been hearing. (I even liked the Weekend at Bernie's reference in this week's ep.) Someone please talk me down.
Bionic Woman bored me to tears. I couldn't bring myself to give a damn about a single one of the characters. Just made me wish I had a region-free DVD player so I can watch my The Invisible Man DVDs.
Chuck was okay, but I didn't start laughing till maybe halfway through. And even then it was weak laughter.
