Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

We are both huge dorks, but we laughed a lot.
Ginormous. And much laughing.

I was amused by the meta, lots, actually.

And now? Bring on the angst and pain and just a little more angst...

Are the next three in a row? We can't break again, can we?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

This was 18. My head exploded from the meta, slightly.

Not that I didn't enjoy it. It's just mostly that, wow. My head exploded from it. Last time I saw something quite so self-referential was Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

Which I own and have seen many times. So.

Right.

2x19 promo:

Wasn't that Agent HottyMcSmartcakes we heard in the background of the promo? It sure sounded like Agent HottyMcSmartcakes.

This may be due to my strong desire to see him again. But I swear, it was his voice saying all he knows blah blah blah, people turning up dead.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Hendrikson, Plei? (I know how to spell his name after writing him into two stories!)

If it was, that makes it even weirder, because they'd be sent to federal prison and printed and all and they'd never get out.

Ha! Yes, Hendrikson. I was too lazy to look it up again, can you tell?

I'm utterly unspoiled for it, which now has me speculating about it in ways that won't make sense outside my head. I'd assumed based on the county jail part that he wouldn't be at all involved, but now? Not so sure. It was a frustratingly unrevealing promo. In a good way.

I've been working on a song about the difference between analogy and metaphor.

That was definitely Hendrikson's voice. I'm very excited.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Someone on my Flist posted this photo of Christopher Eccleston. [link]

It's like someone cut the cord on whatever powers the Doctor's regeneration during Nine --> Ten!

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Ha! That is kind of freaky.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

OK, I watched SPN last night (I'd watched most of the first season when it came on, but had conflicts this year). I enjoyed it a lot. And you know, if Dean doesn't look good in an orange jump suit, he can always take it off (resolutely not flailing).

I will flail for us both, Toddson.
