A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I think it's easily the most successful bystander ep of the series.
Oh yes. Really, only powerful nostalgia and decades-old love for Sarah Jane Smith keep me from thinking it's the best episode of any sort. It was almost totally unlike Dr. Who, more like Torchwood actually. But it does the good things Torchwood does even better, with none of the frustrating crap diluting them.
I'd like to see Sally Sparrow become a companion down the line.
The island is full of zombies! Run!
Now watching Highlander, Torchwood ended. What did I miss?
Derek Jacobi on Doctor Who!!!!
Theme song with powerwalk, motherfuckers!
Um, quester, honestly. The plot.
Okay, they're looking for the source of immortality. Poor Joe died, killed by the Guardian of the source. Duncan's estranged wife is having visions.
quester, see how bad it is right now? That's about how it's been. Though less montage-y up til now.
It does suck muchly. Who are the kid and the guy with the weird hair?
The guy with the weird hair is Cardinal Giovanni, who is Immortal but very worried about blasphemy and tkaing God seriously.
Although how he thinks anyone would with that hiar is beyond me
The kid seems to be a Richie replacement.
Yeah. This has too much of people I don't give a crap about, and not enough Duncan and Methos.
Also, with Joe gone, I'm hoping this is the end of this franchise. The movies sure aren't getting better.
