Wash: Little River just gets more colorful by the moment. What'll she do next? Zoe: Either blow us all up or rub soup in our hair. It's a toss-up. Wash: I hope she does the soup thing. It's always a hoot, and we don't all die from it.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Oh God, the rocking trailer like 5 seconds before Dean exited. Could he even dress that fast?

And next week I get to be the one miffed about how bad they get the local geography!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I'm going to have to watch this episode again, there was just too much to catch it all.

Because books.

I just got to explain the concept of "meta" to ten-year-old Ben. I want to hold this episode close, and hug it and pet it, and never let it go.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Explain it to me, AmyLiz. I had to sorta learn it by osmosis, and I'm never sure I got it just right.

I'm rewatching right now. Such fun!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Apparently I am doomed to see episodes of SPN WITHOUT bitchin' power shots of the car. Oh well - it was a hella amusing episode.

Still haven't seen a single angsty episode, but so be it.

Or Houses of the Holy? Or Born Under a Bad Sign?

Come to think--have there been any bitchin' power shots of the car since Croatoan?

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Ha! Oh, that was great. I loved all the awful acting in the movie. When the episode started, I had forgotten that this was the movie episode, so I was getting scared for the girl wandering around in the dark by herself. Then I thought, "hm, she's a really bad actress! Why did they-- oh! She's in the movie!"

The meta made me roll my eyes a bit, coming so close on the heels of "Tall Tales". Though it turns out I pretty much can't get enough of Dean being a total fanboy dork, so I can't complain too much.

In conclusion, bring on the angst!
