This is my boat. They're part of my crew. No one's getting left. Best you get used to that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's a decent accent. Which makes me assume that the crap American accents are kept in the UK to use on Spooks, Doctor Who, or Hotel Babylon.

Crap English accents?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I am running through DVDs of Spooks, and had no idea how bad they could get until this show. Now I empathize with British watchers of American tv!

Also I've finally caught up with Eureka. Everyone has already made the point that Jo should be done with Zane because he's a self-important jackass. But I still don't understand an inferiority complex when dealing with a town full of geniuses. Chances are, they are socially awkward and notably deficient in common sense and other real-life skills. How can you maintain a complex with people like that? Jo should be like paperdol-- just because you work with scientists all day, it doesn't mean there aren't endless opportunities to roll eyes forever at how stupid they can be.

Art Crawl!!!

You mean Jo not Zoe.

Zoe is Jack's daughter.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I am running through DVDs of Spooks, and had no idea how bad they could get until this show.

The Agatha Christie dramatizations can get pretty bad too. And Anthony Stewart Head was in the first episode of "Jonathan Creek" playing an American. Remember the episode of Buffy where Spike was a friend of "Xanderrrrrr's"? Yeah.

Makes perfect sense to me. Not that she should have one, because she's way cool, but when you're (unlike Paperdol she doesn't escape to the internet or leave the boundaries to go home) where brainpower is currency, you might feel poor even though you're more than able to barter your way into the economy.

I was wondering what they'd do with Zoe, and I pretty much agree that making her a stealth genius is the simplest way to go.
