Last night I watched with roommate and friend, who can testify that I correctly called the "radioactive invisible mice" hypothesis. I felt like taking a victory lap around the coffee table. :-)
Though I winced just a little at the handwaving of invisibility and how clothes were affected, but hey, I'll forgive a lot in the pursuit of a cute story, nice characters, witty repartee, and good acting!
