No studying? Damn! Next thing they'll tell me is I'll have to eat jelly doughnuts or sleep with a supermodel to get things done around here. I ask you, how much can one man give?

I hatedhatedhated Peri for her sheer annoyingness. But, I loved Tegan for her sheer bloody-mindedness.

Overall, I'd rank my top five as:

1. Sarah Jane Smith
2. Tegan Jovanka
3. Rose Tyler
4. Leela (for her primalness)
5. Turlogh (because he started out evil, and then brought the hawt, especially in his final episode when he stripped down to his Speedo, unfortunately covered by his shirt, but at least he was wet).

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I don't dare try to rank companions, as there are several that I only saw a couple glimpses of that I think I'd love - Leela, for one. Adric at least had the advantage of not screaming a lot, therefore he ranks a bit higher than most of the younger females.

Rose may be my favorite.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I hated Ace. I can give you three:

1) Rose 2) Sarah Jane (I cried all through her season 2 episode) 3) Leela

I put Ace in the "meh" category, but I probably favor her a bit more because she was the companion in what is my favorite Dark Doctor Who episode (pre-revival), Remembrance of the Daleks, the 25th anniversary one where they went back to 1963 London and had tons of shout-outs to An Unearthly Child, including a real meta-moment (Ace turns on the TV, and as the vacumn tube warms up, you can hear the Beeb's announcer saying, "And stay tuned for our new adventure show, Doc..." and she turns the TV off in frustration).

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

The whole watch thing was clear from the very beginning, and I do mean the beginning.

I also was not amused by the little "I broke up with you", "no I broke up with you" bit. I really hope that isn't a recurring theme because it's stupid and annoying.

I actually kind of like the idea of hopping back and forth.

I am very displeased that they are not using the original Queen song. I don't care how much it cost. One fewer rift would have been worth it.

Art Crawl!!!

I know! It would have so cool to have the original. I guess they spent the budget for it on the promos.

Already this week's Masters of Science Fiction is better.

Art Crawl!!!

It was better -- but so very, very 1970.

And next week's looks like fun.

Our wings are not tired.

Masters of Science Fiction was all warm and fuzzy and sweet. And Not!Locke was living in the Adirondacks where I am so that was nice.

I was sick in bed all day so I finished off the Doctor Who season. Sad now. Want new season. Some awesome episodes there. I prefer to watch with people here, but couldn't hold off.

My favorite companion ever was Benny. Who was in the New Adventure books, and was never filmed....
