A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
That was my point but no one seemed interestd in my logic. So once they insisted on a 40 year old Marshall not knowing what to do in a gym, we took it to absurd because then at least it didn't count. And the more absurd we could make it, the better... which might be faulty logic but it seemed good at the time.
This ep was a call to arms for the cast. And we fought to get stuff like that out of the eps for the rest of the season. This was the ep where we realized we were going to have to pay attention.
Was it just me, or was that... not very good?
Not just you (sorry Colin).
Perhaps I should be thankful that I missed this week's episode?
I had such high hopes too, based on the promo -- high school science fair gone awry seemed like such a BtVS S1 kind of premise, how could it fail to be awesome? But the writing for Carter and Allison was just so off. Very weird.
Perhaps I should be thankful that I missed this week's episode?
Meh. Given that there were some seriously cringe-inducingly embarrassing scenes (possibly made worse because we know and like CFerg), I would say that a bad ep. of Eureka is still better than a good ep. of most other shows. There were still some moments that displayed the characteristic charm. And Colin, thanks for putting in the effort to fight for the show and the characters - it's worth it.
Post Toasties.
Re: Doctor Who. Click on this link at your own risk - more to your sanity, but there is casting spoiler for last three ep.s of season three. The Doctor dances.
You can kill me later.
This ep was a call to arms for the cast.
See, there is an upside to this after all. It is better on rewatch, and I can't think of a beloved show that didn't have an episode or more that weren't brilliant. Shame that more time wasn't spent on whacky science fair fun than Carter humiliation.
I'm watchig the
Firefly
marathon and they just had a sneak peak of SGA with Jewel Staite!
Found at TWOP where it came via Lifetime:
Get ready to set those DVR's because the official announcement is out! Starting October 12, "Blood Ties" will be making its highly anticipated return with ten straight weeks of new episodes every Friday at 11 pm et/pt. If your new to the series (or just want a little refresher before season two) you can get full episodes online or through iTunes.
And I've seen the trailer for tonight's Doctor Who 50 million times this morning: is that really Peter Davison as the baddie? Will we see all the living previous Doctors in the new series?
Actually that's Mark Gatiss, but the resemblance was pretty strong in that promo.
