Buffy: He ran away, right? Giles: Sort of, more. turned and swept out majestically, I suppose. Said I didn't concern him. Buffy: So a mythic triumph over a completely indifferent foe? Giles: Well, I'm not dead or unconscious, so I say bravo for me.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Due entirely to Buffista nomenclature, Sean=boy, Shawn=girl.

I have an unduly hard time not making that anecdote data.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I have a boy-Shawn coworker, and I've babbled at him repeatedly about how I'm sorry to misspell his name, but the other Shawns I know are women. I don't think it helps.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Sean = Shawn. sorry, it's a peeve.
No, I'm glad you corrected. I've never seen it spelled out for the show so I didn't have a clue.

Due entirely to Buffista nomenclature, Sean=boy, Shawn=girl
I knew a boy Shawn, a boy Sean, and a girl Shawna, but never a boy Shaun. Until Hardy Boys was on the air, then I was all about the Shaun.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Irish doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I have to learn words one at a time. Ferinstance, Slainte is pronounced, "SLAHN-shuh" (or Samhain which is SOW-en)
