What? She killed 'em with mathematics. What else could it have been?

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I've only seen the first 3 episodes of the first season of new Who on SciFi. I plan to watch the whole thing eventually, but I'm thinking I'm going to watch it all on DVD. I don't like the idea that SciFi is cutting bits out.

Which leaves nothing on SciFi that I watch except Eureka. For Colin's sake, maybe I'll hold off on my canceling-cable plan until the season is over.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Would this be the place to talk about Masters of Science Fiction? Or is nobody else watching?

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

-t,

Yes, during a talk show. The protagonist specializes in escaping from escape-proof prisons, and the other guest has challenged him to beat the "psychic prison" technology.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yeah, that's the one. I don't know why I don't associate it with Schenectady at all. Weird. Thanks, chrismg! I have rotten luck tracking down short stories based on my vague memories, putting a title to that one is way cool.

I'm recording Masters of Science Fiction, quester, but in PDT. Don't know when I'll get around to watching it. But when I do, this will be the place where I'll talk about it.

Are you guys watching Fallen ?

I prefer this Azazeal to the one from Hex and it's interesting that the name is pronounced differently.

Art Crawl!!!

Family Channel. I believe that they will be running all three parts tomorrow.

It's about an orphan boy who turns 18 and discovers that he's actually one of the Nephelim. (Thus Azazel - this spelling from the IMDB. Which goes with the way it's pronounced.)

Masters of Science Fiction: I thought that Judy Davis and Sam Waterston did good jobs I just hope that next week's episode is less claustrophobic.

I was a little disturbed by the way Waterston resembles my father. I also thought it was a nice touch that the paperweight was the seated Lincoln from the memorial, since Waterston played him at least once.
