De Mille really did kind of bury a leftover ginormous Ten Commandments set in the desert, and it was rediscovered a couple years ago, IIRC.
Loved Dan Castellanata as C.B. -- now that's the movie I would have liked to have seen, figuring out how to fight the evil god, et cetera. Oh well.
