A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Especially because I get the feeling that Zoe is doing better in her schoolwork than before -- it also strikes me that Zoe is really fitting in with the kids of Eureka in a very good way.
Incidentally, I want to say, if I EVER get a chance to stand up in front of a wind machine, I'm going to do it. It looks like an experience!
The windmachines are just for effect...sadly... it's really a stunt guy holding a long rope that's tied around my waist through a cut in my sheriff's shirt. He let's me get a bit ahead and then rips me over backwards. For the most part he digs in and I pull him through the mud by clawing at the ground and struggling and then they remove the "wire" in post. But with the wind and rain pelting away it's very cold and tiring.
It's one of my favorite things.
And I'm with you - as were we all - while shooting the thing. We were very vocal because we were timing out at 54 minutes from day 1 which means 25% of what we were about to shoot wouldn't make the screen. We kept hearing "we have a plan, we have a plan".... they didn't really. I feel responsible for not taking greater action sooner.
But ultimately it was good because there was a good sitdown talk after it was done and some protections were put in place.
I'm curious what you guys think about next week though. I love the story and hope that we did it justice in the telling.

So...Eureka is being produced by Cylons?
If Bob Dylan shows up, I am so out of here.

It's terribly fun to see you being enamored of your job and this show in particular. Makes it fun to watch.
Anyway, I intend to rewatch today and that'll give me time to nitpick before the next ep. Oh, but I do remember one. It bugged to have Jack flip on his light bar to head back to the house after Abby & Zoe. It's such a blatant abuse of power and not one I thought Jack would invoke. Irritating. Minor, but irritating.
I think the episode would have benefited from being run through the accessory test.
At lunch I was talking to a co worker about SYTYCD and we talked about summer shows and she likes Burn Notice (and she liked Bruce Campbell but had no idea who she was) I pimped Eureka. She had a very positive reaction "ooh! that sounds fun!"
