"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Oh, poor Jack. Next week looks interesting. Sort of reminds me of that episode of ST:TNG where everyone disappeared but Dr. Crusher.

Darn. Everyone beat me too it.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Oh, Jack! Losing your daughter and the woman that you love. And you were having such a wonderful day :'(

Thank goodness this repeats, because my family decided to have a row for pretty much the entire ep. I should have been more firm when I shouted "No talking!"

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I thought of that ST:TNG ep too...

So It looks like Beverly is leaving? I'm guessing that Abby gets hired as the new Eureka shrink thus allowing the Carters to stick together.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I thought Beverly was just going for some kind of meeting and that she'd be back. Even though it looked like she took a stack of passports and stuff, she left whatever that thing was that she took from Kim's lab. It made me think she'd be coming back.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I note that we saw Zoe in next week's preview, so perhaps she'll be visiting, or deciding not to go, or running away from her mom for the ::koff:: safe haven of Eureka.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hee to the mass ST:TNG x-post. Yeah, we're geeks.

And I was the third one intending to tag the "awkward moments" line. Good ep, although some details bugged. Still liking the continual dynamic shifts, and *loved* the Dr., Dr. moment. And how uncomfortable that is.

'Cause Abby clearly would fit right in to Eureka, even though Jack was a complete outsider. It's good, because we have her for an outsider viewpoint to explain things like the clones to the new viewers, but as far as social interaction goes, it would be just priceless for her to decide to stay and integrate really smoothly, with Jack still feeling alienated.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

How the hell did Abby get into Eureka since the entrance is hidden?

I don't think the town is hidden, just remote. It's the road to GD that is hidden.

"Would you mind not farting while I'm saving the world?" - Doctor Who

So if Jack has a thing for brunettes how did he end up with Abby?

Art Crawl!!!

I wondered how she got there too -- but then, didn't Zoe get sent home and runaway only to arrive back in Eureka via bus? So, it's not completely cut off.

Art Crawl!!!

ION, based purely on promos I think we're going to get a night of Torchwood/Doctor Who on BBCA come September.
