You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Is that the Shakespeare one?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Is that the Shakespeare one?

That was this season. Tennant's done two series so far. I believe Matt is referring to "School Reunion"?

Anyone watch the 4400 yesterday? There was theremin in the score for the movie-within-a-movie in the first scene. The player is on a theremin listserve and gave us a heads up about it.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Last night I sucked down seven episodes from season one of DW. They've been running them on PBS which is great because, hey presto, no commercials! I missed the first four, but I think I've pretty much figured out what the what is of those. I hope I can get through all of season two by the time season three starts playing on SciFi or wherever it plays when it gets here.

Honestly, I only started watching because of the enthusiasm in here, but I am a true convert. I owe you all toasters. I knew the show was going to be interesting, I had no idea how often it was going to make me cry. That, and it's an awful lot of pretty in one place. Can I have Captain Jack for Christmas?

Our wings are not tired.

Woo Who! I've been catching up on S3 here. The dork factor just delights me. It's scary, and funny, and I love it. Mmmmm Captain Jack! Torchwood next, missy.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Can I have Captain Jack for Christmas?

I'm sure he'd be delighted.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I was going to say that you'd have to get in line, but, well, Jack would likely be okay with working through a line.

I've spent much of the past week saying, "Oh, Jack. " I named my computer (TW casting and background spoily...sort of) Ianto, and I have a picture of Ianto in Jack's office as my desktop. On one of the lamps, there's a pair of 3-D glasses. I only noticed this after a few days of having it as my desktop. In my defense, it's rarely empty of windows.

Art Crawl!!!

BTW, my calculations have Torchwood premiering on BBCA at about mid-September.

I think Captain Jack considers himself an excellent present for all occasions, to be wrapped and unwrapped as many times as you please. He'd love to blow out your candles.
