A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Who Fans:
Christopher Eccleston is reading Sinbad on Classic FM's Ford's Galaxy of Stories this Sunday at 4PM GMT (11AM EST), you can listen live at www.classicfm.com. Also, they have downloadable podcasts here I expect that it will be up sometime after Sunday.
But more importantly, Allison's decision was an emotional one, placing the welfare of one person above that of the community. Wasn't it?
Or you could choose to look at it as her trusting in her team. She doesn't even like Fargo. She would feel bad if he died on her watch, but has no particular attachment to him. If she had an emotional connection, it was to Carter, remember that she said that he'd never let her down.
I didn't think the general was very smart. His blustering and pronouncements mean nothing, he was ignoring the facts.
Allison, on the other hand, was indeed having emotional issues, but she was backing them up with real facts. I got the feeling she had an idea in the back of her mind something was different, but it took the revelation that Fargo should have eclipsed the rooom to have the actual information at hand. After that revelation, she could well have turned to General Idiot and said, the conditions have changed, we are dealing with what is, not what happened years ago. You can fire me, but not for x hours. in the mean time, back off. This is my team, my command."
IMHO the general was being equally emotional, and not in a good way. He was letting fear of a repeat cloud the facts.
The actual Emmy noms for Best Visual Effects, as opposed to the ones in my faulty memory, are:
BSG, Eureka, Grey's Anatomy, Heroes, Rome
With the inclusion of Grey's Anatomy, it's even more criminal that SGA wasn't nominated.
BSG, Eureka, Grey's Anatomy, Heroes, Rome
one of these things is not like the other; one of these things just doesn't belong...
I...what? What sort of visual effects does GA have? Is this the thing with the boat crash or whatever that three-part OMG DRAMATIC arc was?
Now I'm wondering if the Grey's people all perform their parts in front of a green screen and are then digitally composited to look like they're standing in the same room.
That would keep them from killing each other..
Heh, so true.
Haven't been to Roanoke, VA.
It struck me as the kind of place where the gas station was the only thing open on a Sunday night. And honestly, if I want that experience, all I have to do is go visit my parents.
I actually drove by Roanoke VA on my way to Cincy on Tuesday. I was not impressed.
I know this is a weird question, but was Global Dynamics known as GD last season? Every time someone said it this episode I heard "goddamn."
