A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Wasn't it the word carved into a tree or something when Jamestown disappeared?

Yep, but it was the Roanoke colony (often just known as the Lost Colony) on the NC coast that disappeared 20 years before Jamestown was founded.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

The one I'm really looking forward to seeing again is "Hunted." It'll be interesting to see how the episode feels now that I know what happens with Ava.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Here you go, Zen [link]

(Weirdly, I was going to say Jamestown, too. I wonder why.)

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Thank you! I knew I had heard it before, and couldn't think where. Of course, using wikipedia didn't occur to me.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Wikipedia entry on Roanoke Colony

I think it's a subtle misdirect from the post-apocalyptic zombie vibe.

eta: haha, Wiki x-post!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Wasn't it the word carved into a tree or something when Jamestown disappeared? Edit: Or not Jamestown. Whatever that place was called. I'm going to wikipedia.
Roanoake
That one.
I love the hivemind that this exchange is not the first of its kind.

Really, none of us do. Shut up, I mean. Once we grok, we get talky meat.

(Give us our preciousssss thread and ... well, you're still stuck with the NCistas and we'll be over there being jealous of you for it.)

Because books.

I wanted to go to Roanoake the last time we were in the Outer Banks, but we never got there. What happened there is my favorite sort of spooky, unsolved mystery.

Hey, babe, I'm all kinds of happy for the talky. It's much more squeefully fun than the Lost Colony "we were the REAL first settlement" talky, really! Which is actually what I meant, d'oh.

(plus, all your NCistas are belong to us, moo-ha-ha-haha!, until you successfully lure them away to the W coast, ya bastidges.)

Hey, I am *trying* to lure them away. Hasn't worked yet, but I am not giving up.

Wanna be lured too? I could lure you... There can be prizes of pointy things even.
