Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

agreed
SG-1 (I know, right?):
"Divide and Conquer" is on Skiffy right now. Say it with me, kids... aww, poor Martouf.
Ailleann, my sister! I was just going to pop in here and post,"Aw. It's the Poor Martouf episode! Poor Martouf."
But, really... poor Martouf!
But more importantly, Allison's decision was an emotional one, placing the welfare of one person above that of the community. Wasn't it?
Or you could choose to look at it as her trusting in her team. She doesn't even like Fargo. She would feel bad if he died on her watch, but has no particular attachment to him. If she had an emotional connection, it was to Carter, remember that she said that he'd never let her down.
cook averagely like the rest of us.
speak for yourself! :)
Poor Martouf!
Aww, poor Martouf.
I'm watching the S1 Eureka finale and Henry is fully aware of what is going on and tries to block them from finding out. But Henry slips. During the autopsy he says "Her" even though later Jack calls the body "John Doe".
Plus he tries to get Kim to do something that would take 38 hours rather than 1.5. So he spent that entire timeline knowing everything that he'd done but managing to keep it a secret, but since Henry from Jack's time line didn't go back in time Henry doesn't know anything about Jack's timeline because the Henry that Jack stops is from the original timeline. Where Jack doesn't stop Henry.
Now we get into the weird time issues, because by Jack being there to change the past a new time line was born. Or something. GAH!
I do have a question about the show's time line. Zoe refers to being in Eureka 4 years ago, but then later they talk about Stark being gone for 4 years. How long was the first season supposed to be?
Another thing I don't understand is that Henry talks about how it took "four days" to identify Kim's remains in his original timeline. But if Stark wasn't killed in that one, why wouldn't have someone known it was Kim.
She's not Zoe (other Zoe), but she's not bad.
Yeah, but who is?
Anyone up for a SPN W&P tomorrow night at 8:30 board time? It's late, I know, but there are some scheduling issues. (Mostly, I'll admit, mine.) We're up to Croatoan.
Chime in if you're going to be here.
