I am the fly who dreams of the spider

askye, that theory sounds the most plausible than the idea that Henry has been going back lots of times, as fascinating and exiting as that idea is. Simpler, neat, succint. Occam's Razor, law of parsimony and all that: "entities should not be multiplied beyond necessity."

Henry would be proud.

And, if this is the truth of the matter, which I think it is and want it to be, I can't believe how Carter sucked me into believing Henry had lived four years with Kim. Was that a deliberate mislead on the shows part, or did we get so far gone bouncing around ideas here that we lost sight of the source?

Not that it wasn't fun!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Good theory, askye!

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Next weeks TV Guide has lots of good little Sci-Fi snippets for new and returning shows. From new shows like Bionic Woman, Sarah Connor Chronicles, Pushing Daisies, to returning shows Heroes, BSG, SPN, SG-A, etc.

Unfortunately they also did a recap for the entire second season of Eureka, which while vague, was also definitive in some of it's statements. Which I didn't appreciate. But, I have allergies. Obviously the mag didn't think it was spoilerific, because it wasn't labelled as such. Maybe it's not, and I just need a smoke.

Thrive to spite them

I rewatched the parts of Eureka with Jack and Henry discussing the time lines. When Jack is talking about his timeline Henry never agrees that he's been through those things and uses "you" referring to Jack's experiences. Henry never refers to Kim being alive or his experiences with her, except in terms of her death.

At the end in the garage, when they are talking Henry shows Jack the device Jack asks "You want to erase our memories from the other timeline?"

Henry says "I want to erase our memories" but that's about as specific as it gets.

Then he says "Intellectually I know that you had to prevent me from saving Kim, but emotionally I blame you for her death. I can't look at you without thinking you're the one who did this. You're the one who took her away from me."

Then he does compare that to the pain Jack feels about losing Allison and not meeting the child they were going to have together( which is something Jack would have talked to Henry about.) and after he leaves Henry says "And I will never forget."

So Henry never corroborates anything that Jack says about the other timeline or offers any of his memories of that timeline, only says that Jack can't relieve it again.

Henry calling Jack his closest friend doesn't have to be a lie if Henry and Jack were close in both time lines.

Oh! Joe Flannigan is on Tru Calling right now!

Does anyone know where the unaired pilot might be seen? I just recalled that Kavan Smith played Tru's boyfriend in that. I feel the urge to see just how much hotness can appear on my TV at one time without it vaporizing.
