Let the record show that the Boxed Set thread has now completed the 7th grade slumber party portion of its programming, and will now revert to discussion of sci fi TV shows. We thank you for your patience.
'Objects In Space'
Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Another Barrowman interview, this one from Seattle. Non-spoilery.
Is this the thread where I admit that scruffy 1991 grunge boy is sorta kinda bulletproof for me?
All the pictures are keeping me from work! Did I mention that DH had a beard and ponytail on our wedding day? Bet I can talk him into it again when we retire.
Barrowman is a total cutiehead even without the long hair and scruff. Bless him for being so talky meat. Opens Tab for reading interview later.
This from Scifiwire teases about season 2.
Edit to clarify: John Barrowman teases about the 2nd season of Torchwood.
Oh, shoot, sumi, I thought you meant Dresden Files!
I'm sorry!
But we're going to hear yea or nay today, right?
Today? I don't know. The mysterious contact at SciFi Wire said "next week" last Sunday, so I was figuring sometime this week or next, depending on which week he actually meant.
Where did you hear it might be today? I can't get on the forums from work.
I guess today because lots of announcements are made on Tuesday.
Speaking of The Dresden Files, I am finishing up book three, and just recently met Thomas, and boy would I like to see who they would cast for that part, yes I would.
So it better get renewed. Yes. Or I might have to write Harry/Thomas and make Jim Butcher cry.
Suggestions for casting (at TWOP) have included: Sean Maher. He does have the right coloring.
