And don't you ever stand for that sort of thing. Someone ever tries to kill you, you try to kill 'em right back! ... You got the right same as anyone to live and try to kill people.

Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Punishingly Intricate

Some form of Nilly to the whitefonted discussion from when Doctor Who and Torchwood originally aired.

ooh yes please! It's been driving me (a very little in the great scheme of things) crazy since you can't search on "Dr. Who".

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

BTW, I LOVED seeing Cassie from Hex as one of the "witches" in "The Shakespeare Code." Interesting typecase.

AHA!! I KNEW I'd seen her before. SciFi has the extremely annoying habit of shrinking the credits to an unreadable size so that they can show a commercial on top, so I couldn't figure out who she was.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

You know what might be cool? Some form of Nilly to the whitefonted discussion from when Doctor Who and Torchwood originally aired.

It's certainly entertaining to watch you guys watch the thing I watched a few months ago. I can imagine it would be interesting in the reverse.

My annoyance last week with the argumentative sheriff on The Dead Zone continued with this week's focus on her. I find that I can let people's doubts regarding Psych's Shawn Spencer slide since he isn't a real psychic, but it's irritating to have to watch Johnny get sniped at in the sixth frickin' season, when he's already built up a long track records.

As for The 4400, I'm intrigued by the show delving into its myth arc, but I miss Richard and would gladly have kept him rather than Isabella. I also liked people calling out Shawn's inexperience and youth, considering he, well, is inexperienced and young.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I just found this great interview with John Barrowman at the Chicago Tribune's The Watcher TV blog. No great spoilers for Torchwood other than a casting spoiler for Season 2 that's been spread all over the internet, including here, IIRC. It's in the headline for the story, so if you've been avoiding all spoilers for the show, skip it.

Art Crawl!!!

Over at TWOP they're saying that SPN is coming back on September 27th.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

I'd like to indulge in a moment of media fannishness and state that I believe Jared Padalecki has reached hair nirvana.

Rowr. If Sam looks like that next season, I may have a coronary.

(The show actually looks mildly intriguing, based on the description (despite the fact that it's produced by Ashton Kutcher and is on MTV). The trailer is a wee bit squicky, though...)

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

You know, since my haircut is actually only 5 days old, my hair is pretty short. (You watch -- Hec will pop up instantly and ask me for photos.) But, my hair is about 5 inches shorter than that guy's. Also, when my hair is that long? I wear barrettes.

(There was a rumor he was going to play the happy trees guy from PBS, Bob Ross, in a TV movie, and that would have been the Nadir of Hairpocalypse. Only it turned out to be a movie about some other incredibly bad artist, who might or might not have hair at all.)
