And now my boy's in love. All hearts and flowers. But, doesn't it freak you out that she used to change your diapers? I mean, when you think about it, the first woman you boned is the closest thing you've ever had to a mother. Doing your mom and trying to kill your dad. Hm. There should be a play.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Ah... Yes. Thanks for explaining the supposed heresy. I'll admit, that Dean has hooked me harder and faster than most fictional characters ever have.

What is even happening?

I can't believe how distressed I am that you've missed the arciness of S2. I just want to shout "Stop, stop! Don't watch any more till you catch up and have all the backstory!"

I'm not missing it, though. I mean, I'm not getting it as intended, but watching it out of order like this sort of highlights it. I watch a second half episode, then a first half episode, and go, "WHOA, they set that up back then. On purpose."

I can't not watch the new (well, reruns, but newer than 2.08) episodes as the CW re-airs them. I don't have that kind of restraint.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Oh, but I remember "Night Shifter" hurt me than it deserved, because Ronald = Vincent (from Eureka).

I don't watch Eureka yet, and Nightshifter (which is how the credits spelled it, I swear, even if my iTunes purchase separated the words) hurt me plenty.

It was the show on its A+ game, and I think it may be Edlund's best hour of TV ever. (I've thought this since first air, despite the fact that they'd done something in either lighting or makeup that made Ackles look way prettier than he normally does on the show, which had the effect of pulling me out of the story periodically. Rewatch, where the brain-blanking effect was dulled by familiarity, only solidified this opinion.)

Also? Works just as well frame-by-frame. Especially the phone conversation.

Mrgfrllghp! Um, that is, I'm just happy you're watching and discovering Winchester love. However you go about doing it Wrong! Wrong! Hssst! Hush!, that you've drunk the Kool-Aid is the important part. Another glass, perhaps?

Julie, Plei used to do the same thing to me--she'd be talking about, was it 90201? as the Bev, and it gave me whiplash sometimes. Huh, what? Call my name?

Yep! 90210 was called "The Bev" at Evergreen, back in the day.

The Cooper Point Journal (the TESC paper) had a regular column called "The Bev Report."

It was Olympia. We made our own fun.

And yes, I do recall a mass of the campus chanting along, "Donna Martin Graduates!"

Our dorm room was PACKED for that.

(Hey, I can almost connect to boxed set, seeing as Mr Tori Spelling was on due South and all!)

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Don't worry, Beverly, I think there was a petition to save you.

And that always works.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Huh, what? Call my name?

Maybe we should call Eureka!Beverly "Barlowe" instead? Although this mistaken I.D. still amuses me.

I don't have one of those names that comes up in coversation very often, so when it does, my ears go up. Out. Yeah, exactly like Uncle Martin's antennae. Freaky, you should watch.

And that always works.

Sh'yeah. Me, holding my breath. No, wait--

Go ahead and squeak. I think my proclivity for spoilers is why I'm fine watching this season in such a jumble.

Oh, I missed this. Well, it's just that CSPWDT sets things up for, you know Croatoan and Hunted. And stuff later. And Bloodlust sets things up for Hunted. And, stuff. But if you're at all a Sam girl, the middle of CSPWDT will make you wibble, and if you're a Dean girl, the epilogue scene will keel you ded. Ded. I'm still ded from it. Not as ded as from AHBL 1&2, but ded enough.

What is even happening?

I don't watch Eureka yet, and Night Shifter (which is how the credits spelled it, I swear, even if my iTunes purchase separated the words) hurt me plenty.

The phone call was fierce like whoa! I didn't mean to imply the episode didn't deserve to hurt me. It did. It earned it. It just hurt even more, because I felt very attached to Ronald because he's Vincent (and Ronald's death hurt me more because he's Vincent).

I really thought the federal agents in Night Shifter were going to turn out to be hunters, who'd come to rescue Sam and Dean under the guise of arresting them. Boy, was I wrong. I'm also a sucker for Lord High King Bad Vids -- because "Renegade" totally worked for me, at the end.

I love how Sam just had such contempt for Ronald while Dean was so simpatico. This is where I want to pull apart the characters, but I just can't. Oh, except to say I love that Dean is the "tough" one, but that he wears a huge, "KICK ME HERE" sign right on his heart, and all you have to do is talk two sentences of smack about his daddy to break him. Ooof.
