A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

2.5 - meaning the Christimas special -- not second half of season 2, right?

Correct!

Gizmodo is having a Eureka trivia contest. Correct entries have a chance to win a TiVo series 3.

sumi, I hope I've said this before, but you are awsome with the links.

Also, those digital press tour panels have been very interesting. The Eureka one was spoileriffic!

Art Crawl!!!

I found that near the end of my day. (The Flash Gordon thing.) I'm going to listen to it tomorrow.

Personally, the sort of things that they spoiled for Eureka were less important for that show than they might be for others. Or, at least it seemed to me from the POV of not having seen the episodes yet.

I'm thinking that no news about DF is not good news. (In fact, a TWOPPer suggests that the DF actors options are passed the pickup time. I'm not sure how or if that person really knows what they're talking about but the silence seems odd.)

All is well that ends in pizza.

I believe Daniel meant that Runaway Bride is Season 2.5, not that it is 2.5 hours long!

Indeed.

I'm posting this here and not in Spoilers because this news is already all over the British media, including the Doctor Who website. Casting announcement for the 2007 Christmas special:

Kylie Minogue on board for Titanic festive special.

We're all feeling lucky, lucky, lucky that Kylie Minogue is to take a major lead role in the hour-long Doctor Who Christmas special, to be broadcast in December 2007.

Especially for you, Kylie will be travelling light years to join David Tennant for the episode, Voyage Of The Damned, which starts filming in July in Cardiff.

"We are delighted and excited to announce that Kylie Minogue will be joining the Doctor," revealed Executive Producer and lead writer Russell T Davies.

"Doctor Who Xmas specials are always a joy and we feel very confident that this will be the most ambitious and best Christmas episode yet."

"It is an incredible thrill to be joining David and the entire Doctor Who production for this year's Christmas special," added Kylie. "Doctor Who enjoys a unique history and it is going to be very exciting to be a part of that."

The production team has also confirmed that the story, written by Russell, will follow on directly from the ending of series three where viewers witnessed The Titanic crash through the Tardis walls.

Full details are currently under wraps, with more information to be announced shortly. We'll confide in you as soon as we can. The fourth series of Doctor Who will be back in the Spring of 2008.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I read about that on the BBC's Web site, Fiona. While Hubs is the Who fan in the house, I'm excited because Kylie is one of my favorite pop singers, and this suggests she's recovered completely from her breast cancer .

Tangential news from the same article -- she's in the studio, working on a new album . Which I consider good news for the same reason.
