A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I can't leave things on the last scene in Devil's Trap, either, Bev.

See y'all here at 8, toddler willing and the creek don't rise.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I've been thoroughly spoiled for those eps, and I've also seen much of S2 already, so I think I'll go ahead and do the W&P.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I can't leave things on the last scene in Devil's Trap, either, Bev.

After we W&Ped Salvation, Cass had to watch Devil's trap, and then IMTOD, so I had to too, since I couldn't let her watch Devil's trap alone with no one to tell her where the scary bits were, could I?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Ah, Stargates. Yay TV comfort food!

Count me as another who watches the Cam/Vala scenes looking for sparks of John/Aeryn in there. (And being alternately impressed and disappointed to not find any -- I love that the two actors are both that good, but damnit, I miss my Farscape.)

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It's nice that the PTB feel like there's enough distance from Farscape that they can finally let Browder and Black actually have scenes together. Because they're wonderful.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I do love that Cameron is the one guy that Vala's teasing seductress act has no effect upon, other than sparking the equivalent of a bored "yeah, whatever."

and those lines are very like early Crichton in a lot of places, although I will give Cam credit as a credible soldier, which Crichton never was.

I don't see the two characters as much alike at all, beyond impulsiveness and maybe a few pop culture references. John Crichton was one of my favorite fictional characters ever, but all too often I'm left with an impression of Cam as an unlikeable entitled fratboy dick. He breaks out of that with his comfortable camaraderie with Sam and his admiring man-crush on Teal'c, but those moments don't come often enough.
