Who 3.12: I don't know why, but Mrs. Saxon reminded me of a slightly saner version of Drusilla.
Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Hmm. For all my assured discussion of JA's eye color, the caps I was looking for did not show me (much of) the golden end of the spectrum that I imagine tinting the green. I definitely didn't catch any blue/green going on. I mean, there were hints of what I was remembering so fondly, but not as obviously as I like to remember. But I'm not giving up. Oh, no. There will be more research. For the team.
I'll have to meet the guy in person and gaze into those peepers myself one day. There would be NO tackling or invading of personal space involved, however. Just to be clear.
I have to save Who for tonight. Or, geez, maybe even tomorrow. Feh.
JA's are on the decidely green side of hazel. Caps, due to the washed out nature of color on the show, won't show it, but it shows up in photos of the actor. I wouldn't call them green, but I wouldn't argue with people who do, because they're close enough to it.
JPs are that weird murky dark shade that's annoying to try describing without resorting to stupidly purple descriptives about storms and such. I could see there being some blue in there.
JP's eyes remind me a little bit of Claudia Black's that way--they're not brown, but they're dark enough that a lot of people think they are.
I found myself quite facinated with Mrs. Saxon. I loved her dancing at the end! So much slapstick with the door screaming and the John Simm mustache twirling - loved the gas mask scene but still quite scary with Martha's family being taken. The maniacal beahvior of the Master was also quite unsettling as well as amusing. I'm sure that Martha will be teaming up with Leo to save the day. (crossing fingers, 'cause I liked him in the Lazarus Experiment)
I know that I found a lovely picture of JA showing the very greeness of his eyes on one of the provocateuse sites. I am checking them now but I'm on dial-up so it may take a while.
I think I meant this one but it's a screencap so cannot be trusted -- is that right?
I think I meant this one but it's a screencap so cannot be trusted -- is that right?Ha! That is exactly one I e'd to JenP earlier. Not as anything definitive, just in the "shiny! pretty!" kind of way.
Neither this nor this are screencaps and in both his eyes are that neutral gray color that is probably called "green."
