Kaylee: Can I? Zoe: Sure. He's out, though. Kaylee: He did this for me, once.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I will! (Once I find it again.) ((How can I not have this link?))

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

And it was lovely. If little.

I remember that one of Plei's, too. God it's good.

But I want more. I want something with maybe a little happiness and hope between them. Some humor, something that, while it may be comfort sex or anger sex, has other qualities too.

I don't mean happy ever after, just, maybe, a little peace in there somewhere.

Ailleann just posted a link in Fic to her latest, too, though not Ellen/Dean. A veritable plethora of fic.

We all did know, yes? that there're two Bobby-centric LJ comms, singer_salvage and jim_beaver? The last is more actor- than character-iffic, of course.

Hossgal on LJ has a couple of excellent Ellen/Dean stories.

Anbody still need some appetite-whetting for Doctor Who 3.12? Here's the Radio Times preview:

Steadily, triumphantly, all our favourites have returned in the rejuvenated time travels: Cybermen, Daleks, Macra and now the one known as the Master . . . universally. And having glimpsed this Moriarty to the Doctor's Holmes last week, we're shown the full extent of his rascally repertoire tonight. With immaculate timing, and in the guise of affable Harry Saxon, he's become the new British Prime Minister. Suffice to say interest rates aren't the fi rst item on his agenda. And though the Doctor, Martha and Jack are hot on his trail, a reception committee lies in wait. John Simm is hilariously heinous, donning the Master's dastardly mantle and adorning it with his own fun accessories. And yes, he upstages David Tennant just as Roger Delgado used to do to Jon Pertwee in the 70s. This thrilling first part of the season finale plays like a Spooks with the ideas department in overdrive. Amusing cameos, crafty Torchwood overlap, a Captain Scarlet homage and some serious jeopardy complete a first-class package. One week will never seem so long.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

makes notes

I honestly wish the show had the guts to go in that direction. Is it just me, or do TV shows in general tend to shy away from older women/younger men relationships or, when they do show them, make them laughable in some way?

Edit: Fiona, thanks for that! I agree, one week has never seemed so long.
