Because books.

(Dean would love that Indian. Sam couldn't ride a racer bike with those pony-stick legs of his, he'd need something a little more laid-back, more of a chopper.)

::drools::

I want that Indian FOR ME.

Although the idea of riding with Dean, now...I could go for that. Yes, indeed. Oh yes.

::goes back to drooling::

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I just can't see Sam having the attitude for a chopper, you know? He's more likely to be crouching a little forward. So I guess he'd be a Nighthawk rider, then.

(Parenthetically, I'm annoyed that the Raven is a sportbike. Ravens should be cruisers, dammit.)

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Dean would so be an old-school bike kind of guy. The Indian is perfect. Or a vintage BMW. Harley's not stealthy enough, nor are the cafe racers. The Valkyrie, maybe, has the classic look with new technology. Yeah, Dean on a bike, mmm.

Heh. juliana on a bike. Yum.

Sam on a bike? Hard to picture.

I just spent some time watching all the "Are You Watching Supernatural?" promos, 1-23, on YouTube. #11 is all about the Impala. #16 is pretty heavy. All of them are fun. The promo from last night I saw during the broadcast of Simon Said and it and all the Are You Watching? contain only S1 & S2 footage, so no sneak preview stuff.

Of course now I want to go rewatch from jump, but you know, when do I not?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I am entertaining myself with the notion that Dean's almost as afraid of motorcycles as he is of planes.

It would tie into his own particular type of neurosis, I think. Four doors of heavy steel around him serve as a security blanket. Sure, he can control the bike in a way that he couldn't control a plane, but man, he'd be so exposed.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Besides, the car was HIS FATHER's ... and thus sacred.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

More googling than I probably should have indulged in recommends this as a good bike for tall people.

Harley's not stealthy enough

The Impala is not so much with the stealth.

edit to sound like less of an ass

Dean would never give up the Impala - I'm just positing if he had time and resources to play.

On my run this morning, I was actually thinking about the fact that one really couldn't be an effective hunter on a motorcycle - not enough carrying room (even on a Goldwing), not enough protection (hello semi) - but that the lifestyle would appeal or at least be comprehensible to most hunters.

I am entertaining myself with the notion that Dean's almost as afraid of motorcycles as he is of planes.

I was thinking he'd be overwhelmed by the cool/chick factor, but you may have a point. Heh.

I'm sorry ... I just had an image of Dean on a motorcycle with Sam in a sidecar ... knobby knees sticking up. heh

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Just for you, Todd. [link] In the effort to bring my your fantasy to life. Although, I think I prefer to place myself in the sidecar, not Sam.
