I thought that was the best episode of the series! The Camberwick Green intro did it for me. I haven't laughed that much in ages. Even the Nonce waves. But I don't know if Camberwick Green ever made it to the States.

Last episode fanwank: Jen, I totally agree that he knew that jumping would take him back, and that's why he did it. In fact, I think the writer agrees, so.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

See, Fiona, I'd already seen the intro bit, since it was used in a promo, or leaked, or something. And I laughed and laughed, though I'm sure I didn't get the entire reference. But what's not to love about Claymation!Gene banging a trash can lid into someone's head repeatedly?

It was just the rest of it, the main plot, that didn't *quite* work for me. I still thought it was a very enjoyable episode. I love seeing the slight changes in the way the cops do things, especially Gene and Chris.

Maybe part of the problem is that I thought from the beginning that the husband was the killer. I was kind of impressed that they'd circumvented it at the end, but then it came right back around to his being the killer.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I loved the use of the Hawkwind tune at the beginning of that episode, but that's the music geek in me talking.

For those not aware, the Stargates start back up tonight on Sci-Fi. Yay!

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

I just spotted a recipe called "Supernatural Brownies."

You must have to surround the pan with rocksalt while baking.

You must have to surround the pan with rocksalt while baking.

And don't forget to add a splash of holy water.
