Well, SciFi apparently lost audio about 15 minutes before the end of SG-1 last night, and didn't get it back until this morning. So I caught the Eureka shout-out (LOVE), but not much after that (and no SGA at all). I assume they saved the planet and Vala's dad left?
It doesn't look like last night's SGA is going to be repeated any time soon -- was it good enough to be worth acquiring through other methods?

Doctor Who 3.10 - I liked the Fear Factor warning for this week's epsiode:
NOTE FOR PARENTS: This is one of the scariest episodes of Doctor Who yet. The whole family agree that it is simply brilliant, and all four Fear Forecasters really enjoyed being so frightened while watching it together with mum and dad. The parents suggest that, if you're concerned, then tape the episode, and watch it with children during the daytime, or, at least, a long time before bedtime.

OK, so... Doctor Who 3.10.
Oh my goodness, another amazingly good episode; another of the ones with the timey-wimey bits all fitting together again at the end, like a jigsaw. And so scary I had to switch channels at one point (the remote age equivalent of hiding behind the sofa, I suppose).
I loved the bits about the DVD Easter eggs - one for the fans. And - "They're the 17 DVDs I own". "You only own 17 DVDs?" - hah. Also loved Carey Mulligan, but then she's been one to watch since Bleak House at least.
I was a bit disappointed that the Doctor didn't offer to take Sally along with him, she's another brave, resourceful woman who'd fit right into his collection. Oh well, if Martha ever decides to leave....
The Confidential was very enjoyable. I love it when they reference the old series, which they've pretty much stopped doing generally.

It's pretty good. Not a big spectacle-type story, but I can't think of anything in it that annoyed me (which is saying something for these writers!), and it was Teyla's annual front-and-center episode. I can burn a copy to disk at work Monday if you don't care to ahem it in the meantime.
