Mansquito didn't forever abolish your skepticism about what SciFi would air?
I have yet to see this classic of insect/man hybrid cinema.
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I'm just trying to figure out what sort of plot a movie named Ice Spiders would have.
Maybe it's a sequel to Ice Pirates!
I missed the beginning of SG1 - so I cannot help you.
That's pretty much all they said--I might have thought nothing of it, but then there was the Eureka ref, and it was kinda gently referential the whole way through, so I thought there might have been fannish backstory (as opposed to the mournfully Minearish place my mind went at the time).
Heh. It sounded like Drive to me.
Ohhhh. I didn't hear the "Cancelled", I thought they were talking sports.
I missed the Eureka reference, also. What was it?
Basically, it's while they're trying to track down the ship on Earth, Vala's dad says something like "I'm kind of disappointed with the SGC--I expected more." "We don't have the support of the higher ups that we used to," explains Sam. "Why not?" he asks.
Before she can answer the scientist in the background yells "Eureka!"
Okay, I went trawling for a better transcription, and lo! YouTube to the rescue.
Ahhhhhhh. Subtle. Thanks.
All I can say is, LOL!1!
I thought it was fantastic and sent the link to the rest of the cast. Awesome.
Even the blocking - some nerd scientist in the background.... love it, love it, love it.
... alright, I'll go back into my hole and keep working....
Thanks for stopping by!
(It was really hard not to add "and dying" to the end, there.)
