if it gets any later that 7 board time on a weeknight, i'm out. have to get my beauty sleep.
'A Hole in the World'
Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Sumi, would Wednesday be better for you? How about other people.
I think we should stick to 7:00 or maybe 7:30 for east coasters who aren't on west coast time the way you are, Beverly.
eta: or what Tiggy said.
Oh, yeah, I should have said, "Whatever killed our mom." Whatever it was, I think he hoped they'd eliminate it, and then be able to go back to some sort of normal life, and not having the boys know or be known by hunters would make that easier. It's only as he learned more, and became aware that Sam was, or might be, involved, that the decision not to let the boys know about the hunting community, nor the community about them, was more for the sake of keeping Sam safe from hunters like Gordon.
Not that I've thought overmuch about this, or anything.
And yes, I'll go back when the convo dies down and change the end post number in the link. Thanks for the reminder.
So Lee.... what's this about watching and IMing? Cause depending on when, I might be in... (still doing my other online thing right now)
I'll email you and Cass when she gets back tomorrow, so we can make plans.
It would be Fall at the earliest before I can join the conversation, but the interest in this show by my loved ones (that would be you) has convinced me that catching up is a summer must see project. Y'all are seriously cute.
Except that at least the boys didn't know it was a demon until the show started. That doesn't know John didn't know and didn't tell them, but since he spent time hunting other things, I think it's a safe bet he didn't know.
I wonder how long he did know. A while before he told them, I get the feeling.
It seems to me that everyone they've run into *does* know about them, though, so that plan only worked halfway.
I can't do any later than 7 board time, because it's just too late for me on a school night. Oops. Time zone mixup.
t's only as he learned more, and became aware that Sam was, or might be, involved, that the decision not to let the boys know about the hunting community, nor the community about them, was more for the sake of keeping Sam safe from hunters like Gordon.
Also.... once Sam had left hunting, perhaps John thought it would be easier to train Dean as a solo hunter, able to take care of himself, and let Sam stay off the radar, maybe foolishly thinking that it would keep Sam safe?
I know. We're so damn *serious* about it, when we aren't squeeing over Sam's nose. No, really, I've lost all ability to watch teevee any other way.
They know about them, but can't identify them on sight, which is probably for the best.
