Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Yeah, it really does add a couple of layers. And it was pretty powerful the first time.

Because books.

Dean and Sam do Fight Club! Well, you know, almost.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Love Sammy's smirk when Dean is laying Gordon out.

Consensus question-- Given how quiet tonight's Watch and Ppost was, do we maybe want to try a weeknight at 7:00?

Because books.

Knowing what John told Dean adds so much to this.

Yeah, it really does add a couple of layers. And it was pretty powerful the first time.

So much this.

Things are easy when they're black and white, and Dean likes it that way. Except that ... in this instance, Sam's got the white hat on. Dean was fully prepared to stake and go, in the beginning, and now he's questioning everything.

I love this show.

Would a weeknight be different, though? I always thought a Sunday night counted as a weeknight, since it's a *school night*?

It might simply be that summer's starting.

Beverly, you had the first post, do you want to do the jump to here link?

eta: I thought it might be better, Amyliz, since people might not be off doing weekend things, but I could be wrong.

I just got "No. And yes. It's always sudden." -Tara

In the upper right corner. Kinda neat.

I have to think, looking back over the season, that the writers--or at least somebody--actually did know where the season was going, what the arc was going to be. It all does narrow down from a seemingly scattered perspective after John's death to the last few episodes of the season. All those throwaway lines and hesitations, all those speculative glances, all those times of fearful looks from one brother to the other, they all take on meaning as the season goes on.

It's so refreshing to think somebody's actually driving the boat!

Um, sure. Tell me how, again? No, really. I have to learn, right?
