Hee!! Dean making Sam sit in clown chair and Sam being so uncomfortable is my favorite EVER.

Boxed Set, Vol. IV: It's always suicide-mission this, save-the-planet that.
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Love Dean leaping for the ordinary chair, to make Sam have to use the clown chair.
The blind knife thrower is making me miss Lodz from Carnivale.
Yes!
And clown chair x-post!
Folks that don't fit in anywhere else.
Wonder who that could be.
Oh, Sam.
So glad to know I'm not the only one thinking this.
Hee. I seem to recall an interviewer asking it of Kripke, actually.
Samantha Ferris is freaking smoking hot.
Making Sammy sit in the clown! Go Dean! I love it when Dean's honest because the BS isn't working.
Poor boys. Being told everything they should, but can't have.
And that clenched smile thing Dean does when he's angry. Sigh.
Wow, Sam's hair was bad.
Folks that don't fit in anywhere else.
Yeah, I loved that. And of course the irony of Cooper not looking past the surface of "normal, healthy American boys."
Heh, Dean cracking himself up.
Dean's right eyebrow... I am just in thrall.
Dear Plei, please note Dean and Ellen have highly inappropriate chemistry and take advantage of that.
I'm TRYING!
Tiny nit: As mentioned upthread, little Evan is really the only kid in this episode to be young enough to believe the fantasy. The two girls? Waaay too old.
I always figured there was some sort of mind-control thing going on.
Tight-knit groups. Don't like outsiders. Boy, the Winchesters really are circus freaks.
EVIL CLOWN APOCALYPSE!!! I love that line.
Yeah Sam's bad hair is transition from 1st season Sammy to 2nd season Sammy. It was round and poufy on top, fairly androgynous, even though in the last episodes of S1 you can see he's filled out. The hairstyle helped soften that lantern jaw and keep you perceiving him as juvenile. The shag in this ep will evolve in the next couple of eps to the off-the forehead, longer in back and less fluffy style he'll have the rest of the season.
Not that I've watched often enough to notice his hair, or anything.
