Wait, this SGA was the one with the people who irradiated their planet in order to convince the Wraith they were all dead, right?
Oy. Sheppard's team seems particularly ill-prepared for accidents, don't they? I mean, you're on a space station, people--when someone starts opening all the hatches, you should pay attention!
Surprising they've survived this long, really.
ohmygodohmygodohmygod. I'm cathcing up on a couple of missed SPN eps, and I'm watching Folsom Prison Blues, and the scary eyes that suddenly appeared in front of Lucas's little window when he's in solitary with Dean just made me jump back from the screen and yelp like a frightened child. Yikes.
Also? Too bad they don't do solitary on SPN the way they did it on Oz. Just sayin'.
Bwah! If only Kripke had hired Tom Fontana on as a consultant.
I assumed that while the giant Devil's Trap was built so strong that nothing demonic walking the earth could get inside, the concerted high-pressure upwelling of scores of demons and diabolic energy from an open gate to hell strained it too much and it had to give way. And YED being right there made me think he wrangled the bulk of the demon army to head right for the point he was standing at. But WHY did Samuel Colt encase the gateway behind a lock that could actually be opened?
Also, WHY did Dean not empty a clip into dude's head the instant they found him? He killed Sam, I don't think Dean would have been big on offering him a chance to repent.
I wondered if Ellen was going to be hardcore enough to pull the trigger herself and leave Jake with no leverage and three vengeful hunters who had him in their sights. Still, she was steely enough to suit me, none of that "Help! Save me, you big strong men, you!" crap.
"S-ssh-oot h-h-im." Love Ellen.
But WHY did Samuel Colt encase the gateway behind a lock that could actually be opened?
This bugged me too, Matt! I mean, cool that it was his gun...but WHY HAVE A LOCK AT ALL? Why would you ever conceivably want to open THE GATES OF HELL?
To go in and get your father/brother?
eta:
Jensen Ackles, yay or nay? A visitor to the site suggested it.
Yay to putting it on the site? You betcha.
Yay to it being JA... I can't actually tell! This will require further study...
t /unhelpful
I don't think it is. Nose too convex through the middle span to be JA.
Yeah, you can tell the difference in the nose in this shot of JA. Wet guy's got the Roman bump, or at least it looks like he does from that angle.
Research. It's killer.
