"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

Regarding the renewal situation -- someone (Digitalwave) on livejournal posted the following unofficial information:

You know we help put on a model and toy convention here every year, WonderFest. It's much more than that, lots of neat guests, behind the scenes special effect artist guests, wonderful art guests. You should take a look at the home page sometime and those of you near us should consider going.

Anyway, I helped Lee with finishing up the press kits for all the local tv stations, the newspaper and the Clear Channel radio stations last night. Today was my day off so Suzie, Mom and I went around and delivered them all. Our local CW affiliate was our last stop. The marketing guy there is really sweet, he comes to the show every year. I asked him point blank about Supernatural. I figured what the heck, it couldn't hurt. He told me that while the info hasn't been released yet to the public it has definitely been RENEWED!!! So, straight from the horse's mouth, our show is renewed and will be back next year. He says for a full 22 episode order!

So, for what it's worth....I don't know who Digitalwave is, so I don't know exactly how reliable this is, but right now I'm needing all the positive vibes I can gather.

And Kristin on E!Online said

Well, nothing on the CW (except for Top Model and Smallville) is a sure thing at this point, but I can tell you that inside sources are whispering that Supernatural is safe! Word is execs are happy with it creatively and feel they should stick with their solid Thursday night lineup next season.

So I'm going to cuddle all that to my chest and go drink some tea. Or maybe some cocoa. And try to stop whimpering.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I'm going to have to rewatch in a couple of days, when I can stand it. Now that I know it's not a series finale.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Or, he's counting on it, that when Sam presumably does turn to the dark side it will be with much more fervor and cunning than anyone else. Only, dead, now.

That's a nasty thought. The people who are killed off in the Demon's little game of Last Man (or Woman) standing are still going to be in his army - but as spirits or something else of that ilk.

But that's so unfair! I mean, Ava eventually turned, was seduced by the power, if you like. But Andy was a good guy. They can't kill him and THEN turn him evil, can they?

Do we have any idea when the season 2 DVDs will come out?

Also, I was disappointed that there was no real "The Road So Far" song video at the beginning. Season 1 did it better.

Beverly, my guess would be that Ava and Jake would be members of the YED army. Andy probably isn't.

I missed the song, too.

Oh! I've been offline almost all day, Ailleann, and haven't had the chance to wish you Felicitations on the Anniversary of Your Natal Day! May the coming year be full of hale and healthy Winchesters, and personal success and productivity, happiness and health.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

So far, it seems like the YED can do just about any damn thing he pleases. I'm really getting tired of him. We need to introduce him to Sylar.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

How on earth are they going to bring back Sam in a way that will be emotionally and narratively satisfying?

Or will next season be "Topper" with a classic rock soundtrack?

Thanks Bev! (And from your mouth to Kripke's ears on the Winchesters part.)

Man, I went from zero to 60 on this show in less than six months. I think I'm more panicked for this than some of Buffy or Angel. (!!!)
