Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I have to admit I am not finding S&A A2 as wonderful as S1. It's still pretty damn good, though.

It's pretty satisfying in its own right. The last episode is AWESOME. I found that I had to let drop my preconceived notion that it should be more like S1. It is its own thing and goes in different directions. It doesn't have quite as much fun with the supporting cast, however.

Bwah! There's a ruby slippers doorstop. It looks like the Wicked Witch of the East has just been house flattened on the other side.

not your mom's socks.

Ok - I'm signing off and leaving more better posters alone soon, but I just have to say that I bought that doorstop for a friend and it is TINY. Wee. To the point of ridiculous-small. NO I did not read the fine print with the mathy stuff... I figured it's a door stop - it should be bigger than my thumb. It would have been tremendously cool if it were.

eta: bought has a 't' in it.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I saw that doorstop for sale somewhere in SF sometime. Cute.

Mostly lurking...

vw might need the Toto cookie jar.

Oh, dear. Toto totally needs that to hold his treats. Hmmmm...maybe I'll get it next week. That would be fun and prettier in my living room than the boxes of treats.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The stress of finding an apartment is over, and the stress of packing and moving hasn't really started yet, so of course I have an anxiety attack tonight, right on schedule when I am supposed to be relaxing. My body is weird.
