The Single Cutest Matilda Picture In The History Of EVAR
Good lord. I was thinking that statement couldn't possibly be accurate, but she's cute to the infinity!
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Presbyterian and Methodist churches are not (typically, as far as I know) congregationally goverened. The Presbyterians have a Presbetery as a governing body, and the Methodists have Bishops.
This is true for Methodists. Leadership goes pastor-->district superintendent-->bishop.
I grew up Southern Baptist but recently have been going to a Methodist church. I like Methodist doctrine more, but like the governing of the Baptists more. (Although, frankly, Methodist doctrine doesn't quite do it for me, either. Just better than Baptist.)
Matilda looks like a very happy baby.
In utterly random news, I am listening to the soundtrack to 1776, a musical I worked crew for umpteen years ago. My brain is in a happy place.
A few years back, the Marriott Lincolnshire did a concert version of 1776 that was gender neutral. John Adams was a very well-known local actress, Abigail was portrayed by an actor, and the other delegates were a mixed bag.
Stupid work filtering has barred me from seeing the Cutest Matilda Picture Ever!
Oh! Pretty pretty baby!
Fred! We so rarely post at just the same time, I haven't had a chance to say hugs and vibes and ~ma to you and Hubs and Teddy. I hope Teddy is as free from pain as possible and able to soak up and wallow in just how dearly he is loved by both his human parents.
Eeeeeee! Cute be-bonneted baby!
Matilda has got the cutest, pinkest, pinchable cheeks I have ever seen. Love!
Presbyterian is a little bit different than that. Each church has the Session, made up from church members (not clergy) that governs that church. Each church in turn is a member of a Presbetary, which governs a selection of churches, and those in turn are members of a synod.
At each of these levels it is run by lay people, not by clergy. The church membership calls a Pastor and make the decision who to hire. In many other denomination the preacher is assigned to that church by a higher body.
Anyway, basically Presbyterians are kinda congregationally run on a large scale.
