Man, there must be something in the air... I'm hanging on tight till the next set of sessions at my gym because then I can finally take the fencing class they offer (I've had class the last 2 opportunities to sign up). I'm VERY excited.
Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I Have Blogged: [link] All about the MSP trip. Well, not all about it, but a good portion.
Sounds like a good trip back all in all. Karaoke sounds like a blast. Sad about your hat though. I should see if I can get our friend D to do you up an ACID COWGIRL special.
Er....need a little help.
Turns out the guy we shared the shipping with is trying to pull a fast one. I am adressing it via email so that it's in writing. How does this sound?
Hey Shipping Guy -
I wanted to let you know that Joe and I were able to retrieve our goods from Toledo this afternoon. It appears that the staff at the Pico Rivera facility restacked the boxes and as a result, damaged some of our items. I took care of the claim form at the depot in Toledo so I should be hearing from them in reference to what reparations they will be making.
Also, when we signed for the receipt of the items we picked up, they also gave me a final billing form, which I assume that they will be giving to you when you pick up the script boxes. You and I need to address that. I'm not sure if there was an inital quote with a final price to be decided upon delivery, but after double checking with Jason, the ABF agent in Toledo, it seems that the final bill turned out to be $805.00 not the $1200.00 and change that you had originally told me and that I agreed to split. I am assuming that since the price of the actual shipping ended up being far less that what you and I had discussed and that the verbal agreement made between you and I that the shipping would be split down the middle, that you will be issuing me a refund of $217.50, which is the difference between half of $805.00 ($402.50) and my payment to you ($620.00).
Furthermore, we also need to make arrangements for the reimbursement of the shipping arrangements and Joe's time and effort to get our items and your items down to Pico Rivera and onto the truck.
I hope to hear from you within the next day or two so that we can resolve this.
Aimee the Wrathful
What I find interesting is that I found out from the librarian at BGSU that they were paying him $500 for the shipment of the scripts and he also charged the production company a fee for having the picked up. And he bitched at me about how he was losing money on the whole deal. @@

oooooOOOOoooo.
Aims, smite him good. Why do people have to be jerks?
Aims, smite him good.
Already did. In 2008, he'll be voting Republican. No matter what he actually punches on the card.
Take that, you Tree Hugging Liberal from Berkeley.**
**With this one exception, I love Tree Hugging Liberals from Berkeley and wish them no harm and encourage them to keep on voting for liberals. Whooo liberals!
Isn't that harder on the rest of us?
Nah - I've been smiting the Repubs to vote Democrat for awhile.
You can all thank me for the mid-term elections.
I just had the most awful ride home. The minute I got on the highway the weather changed from a drizzle to pouring rain where I couldn't see anything but the brake lights in front of me. When I got home safely I called 911 to tell them that there was a problem with the traffic lights at one of the major intersections and talked to the rudest woman ever.
Ugh, sj. I am so sorry. 911 people should not be rude. Ever.
Thanks, Aimee. Good letter. Give them hell.
