Well, then, this is a day I'll feel good to be me.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

There's no reason it can't be a product of your region too.

It's happening here, too. Footless tights and capri leggings as far as the eye can see. I do not understand the point of fishnet capri leggings. Thank goodness for www.sock-dreams.com, that's all I'm sayin'.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I'm wearing a skirt for the first time in a year ... and remembering why I hate pantyhose. bleah.

Punishingly Intricate

Love sock-dreams!

HATE the word "hose" in the "pantyhose" context....don't mind it in the "firehose" context.

Or how about stockings, with a nice garter belt?

brillig

What has happened to retail lately.

For a couple of years I could not find skirts anywhere, it was just god-damned capris. I was so thrilled to see skirts coming back in fashion.

Raq - MAC requires $50 toward product to do your face.

They do? Huh, the fabulous kids at my local MAC counters and store never mentioned that to me. Of course, they're probably well-aware that I can be talked into spending that much pretty easily.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Or how about stockings, with a nice garter belt?

Now *that's* a bitch to shop for around here. For your other hosiery needs, feel free to come over to West LA.

I've never had a problem as big as an entire sort of (what I consider a) clothing staple disappear due to trends--it's a styling issue. Most impact right now is where the waistband on pants hit. I am perfectly willing to wear some lower rise pants, but my shirts have to not only be longer, they have to be shaped. Therein lay my problem. Right now any pants that need to fit precisely below my waist fit like crap most everywhere else, so I'm trying to avoid the lower waist styles in general.

Or how about stockings, with a nice garter belt?

These I almost always have to get online. I hate hate pantyhose. They make the backs of my thighs sweat and itch. So if I'm going with any sort of stockingy type coverings, it has to have garters. Though I'll admit this might be a problem with the flesh tones fishnets I want for the Jessica Rabbit costume.

Try sockdreams, and ... dammit, I'm blanking on the other place I was looking that had even more exhaustive stockingry. If I remember I'll pop back and mention it.
