I still have a severe case of going for a word and not finding it and a lot of trouble focusing.

Not to be all "accident likes carrots", but this was very much me for the 6 months to a year post-accident. The constant Percocet usage in the first 2 months didn't help one whit. I still notice problems where problems weren't, but it's much better than it was.

My grandfather just got out of surgery. It went perfectly; they completely removed the tumor. He might need some radiation if there are traces left, but he's okay now.

Crazy, huh? And now we have a baby to show for it. We were toting up three years worth of life among the wedding party: two divorces, two babies and another on the way, and another marriage. That's just the people that were standing up at the altar. Lot of things can happen in 3 years. Three years ago tomorrow we were in New Orleans.

That was a fun wedding, I'll tell you what.
