'The Killer In Me'

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Todd, I suck, btw. (Toddson knows why).

It's good to be back, mostly. I just realized that I could conceivably participate in watch-and-posts. Whoa.

OK, I've been here entertaining myself for an hour. I needed this time to be either house-hunting or shopping sans toddler.

Compassionately intolerant

Oh Raq. Comfort and ease vibes coming your way.

Not the same Beej, sadly. If it were me, I'd bring the comfort in person. I am however, not far away and certainly willing to help with tea, sympathy or anything else I might offer.

Beej, how about Target for Champion-brand stuff?
I picked up one pair of tights from this collection but took them back. The blend was really hot and sweaty-making.

But thanks for the link Todd, I am SO ordering at least one of the sports skorts found there. I found a cute little reversible skirt at Marshall's that I wear over my tights. Makes the walking so much more comfortable when I'm not worried about the rubbing and jiggling alarming the passersby.

Can't get to Walmart in this area without a car...

Good tip about the reioutlet shipping Sparky! That's a great idea.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Formally stating the obvious - Raq does not suck.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I know that one Raq. Hang in there.

ION, I do not like Ivy. Too many people use it as ground cover here. and it is so freaking invasive. My plan is to pull it all out of my front garden this year. which will not mean it is gone - just less. Ivy tries to grow into the house. blech

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I thought the upstairs dog was gone because we saw our neighbor with a dog in his truck the other day and I hadn't heard him all day, but apparently I was wrong.

Librarian Warlord

reioutlet.com shipping is free to the store -- I had to go check because I'm like that.

What is even happening?

Ah Raq. I hope things ease up for you, soon. Moving across the ocean with a toddler and starting up a new job right away is enough to suck the spirit out of anyone. Is your husband with you, yet?

Whee! And I am cleared to get out of here, go put on comfortable clothes, and head to Filene's.

Today was kind of a waste, honestly. I've danced this dance so many times I basically spent the day reading Smoke and Mirrors under the table.

Cindy, R doesn't join me for 6 weeks, then he goes away for another 3 to finish his Master's program.

Thank goodness for Skype, though.

What is even happening?

Six weeks? Then three more? Oof, so you're parenting single handedly for the foreseeable future. That makes all the other changes seem bigger.

Raq, I hope you're feeling better soon, and that the time that R is away goes by quickly. Take care.
