You like ships. You don't seem to be looking at the destinations. What you care about is the ships, and mine's the nicest.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Body-glide ... sounds porny (how appropriate)

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, that happens to a lot of men. In this context at least, the sports bra is your friend.

Our wings are not tired.

Loves Body Glide on my arms, and the double socks. I had such a huge issue with blisters that I taped like mad too.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

no marathon advice, but you have my support, Beej.

I decided that this is home day. I didn't even go to the coffee shop this am. I might need to find some caffeine if I am going to do anything.

Got official news that the potential job shift that may have gotten me out of the current work mess is a no go. They want someone local. Frack.

Being ignored to your face, not fun.

Whoot. I've even got an REI discount certificate. Bring on the Body Glide!

Oh my. A friend's husband did a marathon without this good advice and the front of his shirt at the finish line was, well...Yay Body Glide and the sports bra.

Thanks so much for the support. I'm excited and encouraged.

I think I really need a male coach though, so I may have to make some changes in my assignments...but so far, so good.

And about the fundraising? I'm 2/3 there already. Such a blessing.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Oh, Suzi, I'm so sorry. I really really hate job hunt crap. (Me? Bitter? Never.)

Thanks beth. December 3rd is my magic date for school. Then mid-February, 2008 for passing my tuition reimbursement pay back date.

Those dates are looming large in my mind. My direct management is well aware and they are trying to help me. The raise, the attempt to move my office, the suggestions of other work - all are coming from my direct management. Unfortunately they are located in the Boise office and it is the folks I'm working with here that are making life difficult. I'm not counting L in that, though her situation sure throws a monkey wrench in the whole thing (still waiting to here how her chemo went on Friday - no clue if she will be in tomorrow or not).

Someone tap dance nekkid or something. Need distraction.
