All right, yes, date and shop and hang out and go to school and save the world from unspeakable demons. You know, I wanna do girlie stuff!

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I think Jilli looks adorable as big hairdo girl! Makes me miss the 80s.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Good job, Emmett! I'm ded of the overload of cuteness.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, the baby rage: [link]

And the Offering of the Pacifier: [link]

Our wings are not tired.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Y'know, I'd never noticed it, but in the Hell is Inner Circle Prom picture, you look like Alona Tal gone goth.

I had to google, because I had no clue who she was. But I can kinda see that.

I am verrrrrrry tempted to try combining gothy Victorian finery and big hair.

JZ, tell Emmett he did a very good job with the photos! They're wonderful.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Lots of healing~ma to Daniel's hand.

I had a relatively boring day today. Slept late, studied, worked a bit on my thesis (mostly just editing and stuff -- no real work.) I did figure out how to revise one of the middle sections so that it actually works as a segue, rather than a random jump from one topic to another, so yay me. Then I tutored in the afternoon.

After that, though, I went out to Toddson's birthday dinner with a bunch of the DCistas and two of Todd's non-Buffista friends, which was a whole lot of fun. Good company, and yummy Mexican food.

I think I'm going to take next week as a vegan week. No real reason; mostly, I've just been eating junk lately, and I want to try to get back in the habit of actual vegetables and grains and fruit and stuff, and that's easier if I cut out easy access to cheese and eggs and butter and other junk.

The upstairs neighbors apparently flooded their bathroom sometime tonight. We just found a puddle in ours. t bangs head on desk

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Peeektures!

That is some seriously big hair. So cute.

Though I have to say, I think current edition Jilli is most gorgeous of all.

Not to dissuade you from doing big hair and Victorian finery.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Buffistas have interesting lives. I cannot keep up. Um, Suzi got a raise, this is good! Teppy's back is hurting again, but seems to be easily fixable, that's a relief. sj didn't get the place she wanted, that sucks! Daniel burned himself, ouch! No blisters! What else? Oh, and flexeril hatesss me. Anyone want the rest of my prescription? I'm sure the postal service and the Feds won't mind if I mail it to you.

Former-Jilli reminds me of a girl I knew years ago in Nashville. Incredibly beautiful, very Goth. Unlike Jilli, somewhat nuts. I like Current-Jilli. Less intimidating. Also, what Laura said.

In me news, after seeing the photos from Prom, I'm on a diet for reals. No sugar, no wheat, lots of protein. Have lost four pounds. This weekend, I may even exercise! Whoa.
