my afternoon snack- a delicious looking orange - was all dried up inside.
that's really sad! I was worried about the two clementines I had because they were a little soft but they were still sweet and juicy and not too old at all.
But my lunch and snack (including a handful of almonds) didn't really take so I just had two little Famous Amos chocolate chip cookies from the bag they gave us in our Welcome to Your New Suckier Office bags. What was shocking to me about the Famous Amos cookies is that they say the whole bag is one serving! And there's like 8 cookies in there.
Also, Michelle Michele? Damn. We're only a few episodes into S1 and enjoying it so much. Just thinking about her as part of the ensemble is casting a pall over the whole enterprise.
no! That was a joke. She's not really in it. There is no need for pall casting. It continues to rock.
Congrats to Thomash!
ION discouraging snack news, the little half n'half creamer I put in my sugar free hot chocolate was bad and made little dairy blobs.
Looks like no snacking today!
no! That was a joke. She's not really in it.
Oh, thank
God.
I was beginning to think that everyone at HBO must have lost their minds.
Will people share their hair-rending car repair stories and commiserate in my misery? I'm paying something like $500 to get my damn fuel pump and fuel filter replaced, and this is assuming the parts I bought from Kragen (which were half the price of ordering from the manufacturer) fit and work properly. And, I mean, $133 of that is just the diagnostic fee that confirmed what my uncle thought was wrong in the first place. Gaah. Stupid car!
Cars are so stupid. I sunk $1100 into mine to fix the mysterious-sounding timing kit, and... it runs exactly as it did before. I had to nix getting my speakers replaced and my AC fixed for that crap. Ooh, I also paid $65 on Saturday to get the computer checked, the O2 sensor cleaned off and pronounced ok, and the "check engine" light turned off. They should be cheaper for as much as they break.
No, that didn't happen! Just on Homicide, and ER, and...something else.
I'm guessing it's some Lewinsky thing. Or she's related to someone.

Sorry for coming off like a cocksucker, and bringing on palls where even this melancholic partial dirt-worshipper sees no need.
{{{DJ}}} -- I am so sorry for your loss.
Laura- Thanks for the ~ma
Cindy- THANK YOU for posting the picture of my ONE TRUE HAIRCUT. I can never get a stylist to get it quite right, with the front longer than the chin, but the back short!
Polter-Cow-- I can commiserate, in that I am pretty sure my car needs that same repair, plus I have a gas leek, and oil leek, and a horrible shaking problem, but I can't even take it in to be repaired or looked at right now, because I have to pay for a root canal. So I will be bussing it for a few months.

cars suck.
Once, back when I had my '86 Corolla, I got an estimate of $1000 for getting some engine work done. I took it someplace else for a second opinion (actually to a cousin's shop) and he said the work the first shop told me I needed done, I didn't really but that the car needed $1000 of framework done.
I didn't get anything done and it was fine for another year or so until it wasn't and then I donated it and got a new (to me) car.
Anyone have photos of Anne on hand from SF2F? Seems to me her hair is exactly what Cindy is looking for.
I can't resist posting this -
