Gavin, ask yourself this question. What are you more afraid of, a giant murderous demon or me?

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Having Andi in my life defrags my stress. I still get anxious, but I find myself relaxed and happy much more often.

I always thought that if I was happier I wouldn't gain weight.

So much for that theory.

This being coupled thing is good. The good times are better when shared, as are the tough times.

but I'm still a little bit, ugh. Two more years.

I know you want it over and behind you, and who could blame you. But in the long run doing it right in two years is better than rushing it into one year. Not only would it be less stressful, but you would be more satisfied with the outcome.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Buh. So tired. Up until 4:30 am last night working on book. No cookie for time management.

JZ still weepy about vegan baby.

But we won our game tonight which was nice after two close losses. Emmett had his best game pitching all year (3 innings, no runs, no hits, one walk, one hit batsman. Emmett broke the batting helmet with his pitch. Kind of a scary moment.) and had some key hits and made a great play as catcher.

The team was all sassy and happy and tackled the coaches.

Flop

Howdy bitches.

I have read and I tackle hug everyone here.

Today was weird. It included the following...
-Working happily from home in my pj's
-Working from the office for 1.5 hours, avoiding certain people, sending e-mails to HR and trying to avoid a shitstorm.
-Taking K-Bug and a friend to lunch
-Getting 3 fillings (I'd rather go to the dentist than work these days and I have serious dental fear).
-Watching K-Bug's softball team win
-Watching CJ's little league team win (and freezing in the process).
-Receiving my grade for Managerial Finance I - A-. (vw - I didn't get dinged for the timing of that last paper)

Is it Friday yet?

Our game was frickin' cold too. Fortunately since Emmett was mowing them down we finished in 90 minutes.

OMG - I just got off the phone with my supervisor - yes, mark the time - and our big boss, who has been in Sacramento, is going to detour to my office on Thursday to put the hammer down on all the work-drama.

So glad I got a head's up before going in tomorrow. Her coming in should be a GOOD THING. Apparently she is proud of how I have handled myself through all of this.

Lots of ~ma please...this will be the clash of titans as she battles my contract manager and program manager. I'm just going to keep my head down, pack my desk, and prepare to move to a new location within the office - out from under their thumb.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

~ma for you, SuziQ. May the Force be with you. Or something.

Just to outdo Andi's late night post, I am up (for the mo) with nasty summersaulting stomach. Fleh.
