Even before this latest blow, she was struggling with the work. She has lost a lot of her skills and her memory. Last week I gave her something that should have taken an hour, or an hour and a half - max. It took her 6 hours and this was something she had already been retrained on. That broke my heart.
Today? How do you break something that is already broken?
ugh. I just snapped at my dad for a totally innocuous comment. I feel bad. I apologized, but I still feel bad.
(((Suzi))) (((Vortex))) I'm sorry you guys.
Oh, blurg, I'm having pre-period lower-torso aches. I don't wanna! I've been doing this for 30 years, already, I'm done! Where is my menopause! I was promised a menopause!
Poor Suzi. They've really kind of screwed you over by not providing proper assistance during this stretch of medical crisis which has gone on for a couple years now. Poor L too.
Sorry to spam, but could I get some feedback on my revised book cover?

I like the new cover, David. I'm sure your audience would appreciate it.

The irony is now I have too much assistance. J has been doing a great job of learning how to back-up my work from the Boise office and now L is here, though her abilities are severely limited from what they once were.
I'm sorry for all the MEMEMEMEME. I'm done. For now.

I like. Nice compromise - I think Tom would approve.
I need advice! The guy came by my desk when I was away at lunch (I'm brining my lunch from now on!) but he brought me some fried fish, because obviously he doesn't know I'm a vegetarian.
So, do I eat it or do I send him an email thanking him, saying I'm really sorry I missed him but I'm a vegetarian so I appreciate the thought but didn't eat it?
