I always thought the name Serenity had a vaguely funereal sound to it.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

This is the thing...more reckless than meeting someone at a bar or a party?

No, more reckless than meeting people through mutual friends. Meeting someone at a bar would involve her hanging out at a bar, which would surely cause them consternation as well. (I'd be a little surprised too, come to that.)

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I know! Biyi still hasn't told her parents we met through online dating, she's worried that they'll fret that their daughter was being so reckless.

And we all know that can only end badly...oh, wait.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Shit. I just woke up from a nap, and I'm all scratchy-throat and sniffles. I better not be getting sick, dammit.

Nope, not sick, just a bit of after nap head clearing.

No kidding. I supppose that I should be so worried that I'm so addicted, but if I didn't have the internet on my cellphone this morning when I woke up, I would have gotten seriously twitchy. I need the computer as part of my wake up routine.

And karma strikes. For all the crap I've writted about BIL leaving his teeth AT HOME - I think I have chipped a tooth. A front tooth. Will call the dentist tomorrow. Snarl.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

sj, did you sign your lease?

Yes, we signed it. However, we're not celebrating until the landlord has signed it and accepted all our terms, which will hopefully be in the next week. Thanks for asking. I forgot to mention it.
