[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thrive to spite them

I forgot to bring lunch today so I have to get something. Nothing seems appealing after all the wonderful food I had this weekend. Even the bland Mexican food would be better than my choices for lunch.

Compassionately intolerant

Thanks Hec...coming from you, that's a compliment.

Huh. I was directing a friend in how to get to my profile (from the front page--man seeking woman, 40-50, 20003...I'm first up at the mo) and found even MORE people I know in the women's section.

How have I not known that so many people are doing this?

In fact, the wedding I'm officiating next week, when I asked how they met, they asked if I wanted the real story (matchdotcom) or the one they tell people. People fib about this sort of thing? In this day and age?

Again...I say, huh.

HAPPY GLOOMCOOKIE DAY!!

Jon, WOOT! on the Boston Globe article! What a great story!

Beej, match~ma to you!

I'm at work. I'm supposed to be at a meeting. Hm. Maybe I should look into actually moving in that direction.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Happy Birthday, Gloomcookie!

Beej, I've found that people in general are still freaked out by online relationships. I still have issues telling people about online friendships I have.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Progress toward goals for the day - ZERO.

DH and BIL are going down to see my niece again. Yesterday they watched her in a 4 hour dress rehearsal of Cats and then out to dinner. Today, they are going to a movie. Great way to reconnect with your daughter - sit in a dark theater and don't talk. Well, at least that way she can ignore the MISSING TEETH.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Not to ignore the rest of the content, but where is your neice doing Cats? I still haven't seen it...

It is some community theater down in the San Jose area, I believe. She is one of the twin cats? Never seen the show. Have no interest.

And my DH HATES musicals in general, so 4 hours of rehearsal yesterday was not good. 4 hours of keeping his brother calm about seeing his daughter for the first time in a bunch of years just added to the joy of the afternoon.

HAPPY BIRTDAY GC!!!

Good to see Aimee, and glad the Miracleborns made it safe and sound.

I wish I'd stayed at home today. Both cars are in the shop and I partied way too hard this weekend.
