I felt sorta sad about leaving this a.m. as it is my DH's birthday.

I'm at work. Nervous as heck about what is happening behind the scenes today. On top of all the ME stuff, my assistant, L has a doctor's appointment to go over some more test results and she has been so certain that it is going to be bad news. I'm trying to send some health~ma and confidence~ma her way.

Poor Suzi and L! It's not fair when that the things you can't do anything about make you nervous and try to ruin your day. ~ma.

Suzi when you mentioned moving to the Pacific NW I tried to remember if K-Bug was a junior(?) in High School? I can't remember if she's the same year as my niece or my DH's cousin once removed.

We wouldn't actually move, the new contract I'd be working on would be located up there and I may visit, but I'd work from here.

K-Bug is a junior (SAT's ARE SATURDAY!!!) and I want her to be able to finish school here. After that - who knows.

I'm tellin' you called her K-But[t]! She's the same year as my niece, then. I feel so sorry for kids applying to college these days. Seems so much harder for them now. I remember my mother saying once that when she watched us apply she felt the same, because she'd only applied to one college and one grad school without a thought of anything like safety-schools.

My work area is a MESS of piles right now. I've got piles for every different project I'm working on. The dining room table is covered, as well as most of the floor around table. Yes. And it's a good thing! Saves him some days. I can't tell you how many times I've had to re-pile these piles. Oh, well. Poor guy isn't getting a ton of attention these days. Who can blame him for making a mess of what seems important to me?

Thanks vw and Sparky. I try to keep an up attitude as much as I can. I mean, most of the time that is the only thing you have control over, ya know?

Unfortunately L has been pretty down. Yesterday she said "Tomorrow I go to the doctor to see if I'm going to survive." Totally serious. It broke my heart. She has been struggling with work and has not had any of her old fire. Not that I really blame her with all she has been through, but once again it is back to attitude.

Crap. Apparently, I'm pukey. I don't have time for this. I need to leave for school like now. Actually, three minutes ago. But, I've puked twice in the last 15 minutes.
