Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

So flush against the rib cage is proper, as long as the wire is sitting below the breasts, and not yanked up into the curve underneath

I can't picture this, so I'm now worried that I've been wearing my bras wrong for years. I know I need to go for a fitting, because I haven't had one since before I started WW.

Tis better to suffer together than alone, my friend.

Word times 100! And tomorrow you'll have cute hair - that's a win in my book

Ms. Bug, can you put it aside for a while and do some other reading or homework or something? I think that 7 hours of that would be really hard.

Cindy congrats on the party success. If the birthday boy had fun and no blood was shed then it qualifies as a smash

My DH and my son are at camp this week with the rest of the 5th graders from my son's school. Leaving just the 16 year old daughter and me at home this week. It's been good for both sets of parents to spend time one-on-one with the kids but man, I cannot wait until the DH and the son get home tomorrow. Beside the fact that I miss them both like whoa, the boat is mucho creepy at night with just the daughter and I at home. I guess with all 4 of us aboard, I never noticed the lines creaking and the boat moving so much but I keep thinking someone is on the deck after I go to bed... creeeepy...Maybe tonight we will stay with my mom.

Jilli, the pictures on the left side of this page are more or less what I mean when I say yanked up into the curve underneath, making the boobs hang over: [link]

I'm almost done with what I wanted to get done today, so I'm gonna finish that. But, I think the writing I have to do on it will wait till tomorrow.

Also, I just realized that the other three articles I have to read are on much of the same time periods, so I've got probably another 6, or so, hours to go. Yay!

This is a very good idea I think. After you finish your reading tonight, you should do something fun!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Hmm, those pictures don't help me. I mean, they don't help me picture it, but I will say, post bra-fitting, that the too high thing was an issue for me, too.

Does this help? Here's the bra-putting-on procedure she taught me. Instead of standing up straight and sort of using the bra to scoop up the boobs, she had me bending over to place the boobs in the cup.

Then when the hooks are done up, you can reach in hoist the girls up a bit ("I like to line up the nipples with the seam," she said - for bras that have that seam, anyway.) And then pull the back part down a bit so that it's straight, not pulling up in the back.

Best thing ever. Also, she said that too small a cup size pulls them down, which, now that I think about it, is kind of the opposite of what I would have thought.

brillig

Does the bra-putting-on procedure apply to front hook bras as well? I haven't worn a back-hook bra in decades and don't intend to.

I would think so.
