Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Herding cats for fun

ION, I think I really like my new group. There's this whole potential thing with Burning Man this year called "Greening Man" (kind of like Cooling Man last year), and some of the research that our clients are funding &/or doing is amazing and just may help save the world. So freakin' cool.

(Settles down waiting to hear more)

sj, that evil stupid landlady does not deserve to be your neighbor and breathe your air. I say, thou shouldst smite mightily upon her, yea, and also to call down the wrath of the Realtor upon her foolish nasty head. Then, make the Realtor get you a nice place toot-sweet. After that, take over the world and perfect the transporter for me, OK? (mwah)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Julia has decided she wants a pixie cut. She also says she's bringing back the sixties. She's encouraging me to come along for the ride. This is the child who was in tears because her long bob was a little too short, two months ago. That's my girl.

Stylish and easy to maintain. Let her know I've got all kinds of mod fashion links if she wants to work on her sixties look.

Trust my rage

Well, I'm catching up from last night instead of working. I went to bed at 8pm. I think i actually might have yelled at Joe for having the TV on for "hours" somewhere around 8:45, but I hardly remember it.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Question for the DC area folks. The gal I'm going to be working with suggested I stay at the Extended Stay America in Centreville. Anyone have any scoop on this place and the drive between here and Chantilly?

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

I'm about to leave for the airport to go to Atlanta. This is the last thing before I shut down the computer and head out the door.

My hands are shaking. I think I'm afraid of flying? Maybe I'm just afraid of security.

See you Bitches on the other side!

What is even happening?

Ailleann, have a great time, and a safe flight.

Hec, she's at school right now, but I already know she'd love that. Link away, please. I'll bookmark your post. Thank you.

Oh, honey. Do you think it's pregnancy-related exhaustion? I know mine got worse each time. With Ben, I was always sleepy. With Julia, I was exhausted. With Chris, I couldn't believe I was still alive.

Ann, that's a ferret.

SuziQ, I live in Centreville. It's a straight shot down Route 28 from Dulles and Chantilly. If your hotel is where I think it is, it's about 5 miles from the intersection of Routes 28 and 50 (which I think of as The Center Of Chantilly) and maybe 10 miles from Dulles.

I'm not familiar with the hotel itself.
